Branding
Jewelry Label
This project showcases the corporate identity of a fictional jewelry label. Each of the 950 silver rings we designed carries the imprint of a stone taken from the Berlin Wall. With the fall of the Wall in 1989, many Germans gained personal freedom and the opportunity to make self-determined choices within a democratic system. Symbolically, the jewelry represents courage, resistance, transformation, as well as freedom and democracy. The name KRATOS47 is derived from the Greek word κράτος, meaning “strength,” and the number 47, referencing the chemical element silver (Ag) in the periodic table, which also appears as an animated key visual on the homepage.
